The brief was a combination of pop art and different pop artists and their work. We were asked to prepare suitable materials for digital outcomes also to be able to combine traditional and digital art and design media also we were asked to produce various examples of work using digital art and design techniques we had to research on Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein and Richard Hamilton.
The topics that we had to research was the Pop Art movement the Artists and Chess. I gathered my research from the Internet I imported them into a word document, I presented my research on a table to separate the artists and the research from each other also it was a good way of presenting the work because it was smart and ordered
I took my inspiration from Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol I tried out a few designs from the inspired artists to develop my design I had to create 4 Pop art inspired adverts I used the Andy Warhol banana as inspiration for my 4 designs I used different colours and different slides to make the picture flash different colours
I had to design 6 initial designs on paper I took Warhol’s knives inspiration to use the chess pieces side by side as like in a war I did the same with the banana and took a king chess piece and curved it a little then with double Elvis I used 2 kings chess pieces again.
Overall the brief was hard at times I struggled on making the advert at first but then I got the hang of it, what I really think about my design that it came out very odd I was not expecting it I think I performed to the best of my ability.
